Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder I responsible for accurate code
assignment in various medical settings.
Key Responsibilities
Assign codes for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency service
diagnoses and procedures
Utilize ICD-10 and CPT classification systems in compliance with
official coding guidelines
Adhere to Health Information Management Department policies and
procedures
Required Qualifications and Education
High School Degree
Experience in medical coding preferred
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
Familiarity with coding guidelines from relevant health
organizations
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
