As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician who shares our passion for the restaurant industry and is eager to grow with us.Come join a great team!Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a technician you will be an integral part of operations by diagnosing, repairing, and providing planned maintenance on a range of commercial kitchen appliances including, but not limited to, cooking, refrigeration, dishwashing equipment, and/or HVACOccasional operation of heavy machineryFrequently driving, backing up, and navigating trucks with various trailers Manage and prioritize several projects simultaneouslyUtilize basic hand and power tools to complete projectsAbility to travel to multiple locations throughout the Puget Sound regionProduce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventoryUtilizes ticketing system to communicate with Restaurant Manager and staff to keep them informed of estimated timelines for repair of equipmentWilling to be involved with emergency on-call rotation, including night and weekendsOther Building Maintenance including internal building, and grounds repairs.Requirements:Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent time management skillsPositive can-do attitudeSolid communication skills including interpersonal skills, team communication, and working with partners and clients. Strong work ethicProven customer service skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to read English and comprehend instructionsSelf-Starter/works well independently Clean driving recordEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.2+ years of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVACRelevant training, licenses, or certifications preferredWork EnvironmentProlonged periods standing, walking, and working around kitchen equipmentMust be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
