construction markets.Job DescriptionAs the Territory Sales Manager
you will be responsible for developing and maintaining target
accounts while driving new business. This is a critical role to our
business and is well suited for someone who enjoys talking with
customers, cultivating relationships, and driving top-line revenue
growth! This role reports to the Market General Manager and will be
based in the Seattle, WA market.Key Responsibilities:
- Driving new account acquisition & business conversion to
achieve the annual top-line revenue goals for assigned sales
territory.
- Managing an assigned book of B2B business to include conducting
daily in-market (in-person) sales calls on new and assigned
accounts.
- Preparing customer proposals and price quotes.
- Bringing core product specification knowledge, application, and
value to the customer, including accurately conducting demos for
core products offerings to small and large audiences alike.
- Escalating any customer service issues and delegating to the
correct primary contact point for issue resolution. Follow-up, as
necessary.
- Working closely with supply center personnel and corporate
resources for fulfillment of orders.
- Conducting annual sales and account/planning, forecasting,
reporting, management efforts for the assigned accounts within
his/her sales territory.
- Negotiating correct market value pricing.Sales skills that will
lead you to success:
- Understanding, assessing, and anticipating customers'
objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue
sales opportunities.
- Knowledge of blueprints along with necessary building codes and
how they may impact company products is a plus.
- Ability to overcome objections and find sales-based
solutions.
- Aptitude to problem solve and work with multiple stakeholders
in complex selling scenarios.
- Exceptional time management, task prioritization, organization,
and follow-up.
- Self-directed, highly organized, customer-focused,
detail-oriented, and competitive.Qualifications
- The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a positive
sales history with a minimum of 2+ years B2B - outside sales
experience required.
- Working knowledge of core building material products
(specifically windows & siding) for both single and multi-family
applications in new construction and remodeling segments
preferred.
- Track record of success and solid longevity in past
positions.
- Proven experience in new business selling and upselling.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.Territory: Successful candidates
must live within a 50-mile radius outside the Seattle, WA region.
