    Job Title: Construction/ Real Estate Project Manager

    Job Location: 100% Remote

    Job Duration: 11 Months (Contrat to hire)

    Pay Rate: $64.22/hr to $65.22/hr

    Job Description:
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program.
  • Oversees all aspects of projects/programs.
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.
  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
  • May require a bachelor's degree and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Leads and directs the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
  • UP TO 20% TRAVEL AS NEEDED - WILL HAVE REMOTE TRAINING BUT THEN WILL COME TO SEATTLE FOR A WEEK (POSSIBLY 2) TO GO THROUGH REAL PROJECT SPECIFIC TRAINING (can work with candidate schedule) Story Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects:
    • Team: Developing new team will be specializing in retrofits
    • To support Garret with innovation, robotic innovation retrofits
    • New technologies from robotics team (stationed)
    • Person needs to be able to work quickly / supporting construction
    • A lot of design management / planning for construction projects in operational spaces (occupied)
    • Need good communication - team is open and collaborative detail oriented
    • Robotic client facilities - and within these team, building retrofit team (this person will be a part of team) and smaller retrofits Responsibilities:
      • A lot of research, who to talk to, where to find information - this team is a smaller retrofit
      • Be able to own your work and how to navigate other consultant (external vendors; and bringing on new vendors) - help manage relationship
      • Design path on how this will be developed (no existing standard as each situation is different) Investigation and due diligence need
      • Strategizing to streamline design and simultaneously look for GC and permitting process
      • Work with capital team in charge of project approvals
        • Internal and external stakeholders - 70 internal/30 external (GC and architect)
          • Extend/Conversion - pending market conditions - but with what they are seeing, confident in extension and if they are an amazing fit, possible conversion (when available) Role interesting:
            • Opportunity to work with automation/robotics
            • Completely new team- helping to shape this team
            • Working with so many different stakeholders and involved in different projects
            • Each project is new and won't be repetitive

              • Deliver Results Experience required:
                • Ideal candidate experience - mid-entry level (several years of experience)
                • Construction /development/ real estate background - (more heavily construction management ***) Project engineer experience as well
                • 3-5 years of experience
                • Ideally min of 5 - person must have great communication skills (working with internal teams/leaders) concise and eloquent
                • Hold meetings with a lot of participants
                • Some exposure to drawing - ability to read them and what they consist of
                • Permits and process exp (local jurisdiction)
                • Last hire was from real estate and was exposed to due diligence requirements Must-have hard skills:
